Boy it warmed up quickly here in northern California. Went from stormy cold weather last week to very warm sunny weather this week. I’ve had the windows open all week and a fan running! And it’s only mid-March!
Apparently Washington state has declared a drought emergency already. Yikes! We get less precipitation than they do! This summer is gonna be one hot season and I am not looking forward to it. I prefer the cold over the heat. And we have no air conditioner…ugh!

Inspirations

Have you taken bits and pieces of your spirituality from other traditions? If so, what and why?
Well, mostly from the Celtic and Wicca Traditions. I feel closer to the Celtic Deities than to any other and I lean more toward the teachings of Wicca. But mostly I do stuff my own way from reading solitary books and texts online.

What parts of your spirituality do you consider soley your own?
Specifically…my meditations. I’ve tried using the visualization from books I’ve read, but I find it easier to have a my own unique visualization. In general, just the way I follow my own path…the way I perform rituals (which, albeit I still use books, but even then I have my own way of doing certain things), connect to deity…no other person will do things the same way I do.

What or who was your biggest influence to put you on the pagan path, and how?
I’ve been on this path all my life, but have not known it until I was out of high school. I’ve only recently began my study, a year ago now, and that was influenced by a friend who I had just started talking to after years of not being in contact. She told me she was studying to be a high priestess and that really piqued my interest to start studying the path I had been ignoring for so long.
