And Down We Fall
Got some bad news in the mail today. My hubby, ‘J’, has been on workman’s comp for a few months because he hurt his hands at his job….tendonitis or something like that. Well, he can’t ever go back to doing the same job that requires him to constantly rotate his hands, such as what he was doing to hurt them in the first place (grinding down motorcycle parts).
Well, he got a notice today stating that he was overpaid some $500 at some point in time. What?! And that they were stopping his benefits, even though they know he hasn’t got a job and the other medical stuff (seeing a workman’s comp specialist to see if he can go back to work at all or is just restricted from doing the job he was doing) is still pending. Again….WHAT?!! I’m not working. So if they stop our benefits, WE HAVE NO INCOME. We are a family of four with rent and bills to pay…..not to mention we have to eat.
So please, if you read this…..send us some positive energy, prayers, whatever….to help get us through this. My hubby’s gonna call the place tomorrow and see what exactly is happening.
