Monday Morning Test

Ok, so this test was posted on a message board I frequent…and although it’s not morning anymore, I decided to take it anyway. My score? 9 out of 11. My rating? Honor student. :)

Have a go and see what you score! http://www.risingstarkaraoke.com/monday_test.html

Happy Birthday to me!

It’s my birthday today….the big 29. Well almost over now…lol. :) Wish it were better…but we’ve had a few issues with moving and such, so now I’m a bit depressed. I’m hoping things work out though, because I really hate this apartment and after 8 and a half years I’m so ready for a house…even to rent, which is what we’re planning on doing. We have another house lined up and plan on seeing it next weekend, but if we are unable to move for the next couple of months, then it might be all for naught. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

A good surprise I got tonight was talking to my sister for 3 and a half hours…since I rarely ever get to talk to her. She called to wish me a happy birthday…and have my nephew and neice wish it, too. :) It was nice to actually get to talk to her.

So what started out as a bummed out birthday, ended on a good note. And tomorrow, ’J’ and I plan on going out…since he worked tonight and really couldn’t do anything today.

Speeding By

Ok, so the month is going by faster than I thought it would. It shows in exactly how much I have posted this month…not a whole lot. A lot of things are going on…looking forward to getting our taxes back and moving are two big things. We have been waiting for word on a house rental in the area we want to move, and we finally got it yesterday…and it wasn’t good news. I was told our references were excellent, but since we couldn’t actually pay and move in til mid-February, the owner rented it out to someone else who could pay now. Ugh. It was a nice house, too…and I had gotten my hopes up about it. Oh well. We’ll just have to wait to look until a bit closer to actually having the money to move. Money just happens to be a big factor when relocating.

I’ve also been doing a bit of catching up with sig tag requests…and I have so many to fill. And on top of that, I’ve been re-designing my business and graphics sites. Since I have Poser, I can now create things (web sets, sig tags, ect.) and sell them. So I made a purchase ware web site…which hasn’t got any content on it yet. And I decided to go ahead and re-design my link ware site and my services site (which I’ll be working on today). Have a look…http://www.ravenmoondesigns.com/. Maybe pick up a few graphics while you there. :)

What Lies Ahead

I’m a member of Tarot.com and I got a free report for a sampling of what lies ahead for me this year. Let’s see how much is true by the end of the year. :)

Your Personal Year number for 2006 is 9
This is your year to finish up all unfinished business, to clean house and make room for new things. On a material level this is a good time to get rid of unnecessary weight, to give away or sell what you do not need anymore and to pay off old debts. On a spiritual level you will experience a different mode altogether. Your attention should turn to others and their needs, find ways to be of help and give time and energy to worthwhile causes. You must lighten your burden of questions and doubts and the best way to do so is by directing your attention to another direction, away from yourself and you will find yourself becoming lighter and more in touch with your self. This is a time of completion, problems can be solved and over with, strained relationships relax or disappear, the sources of stress in work or business can be better understood and dealt with. Be social and communicative, enjoy music and other arts. Your creativity is higher than usual. There can be some difficulties this year due to your desire to face obstacles and overcome them, decisions have to be taken and your courage and strength may be severely tested several times, this is not going to be an easy year all the time but you will feel relieved and on the brink of a positive breakthrough by the end of this year. This is the end of a nine year epicycle and you will feel many times the excitement of a new and promising era when optimism is your friend but you will also experience the fear of letting go, however the more you let go the more room there is to be filled during the next epicycle.

Back Home…Playing With Poser

Ok, so we’ve been back home since Wednesday. I know, I haven’t posted, but I’ve just been busy…not with other more important things…lol…just other things. The storm finally broke and ‘J’ drove up to get us Wednesday morning. We left that afternoon and got home that night. The next few days I was busy taking down Christmas decorations and cleaning the apartment. This weekend my sis-in-law was down (yes, we just got back from her place…lol) and to top it all off…I bought a few things for Poser last night, and have been teaching myself how to use the program…whilst trying to avoid ripping my hair out. It’s a toughie to learn…but I’m slowly getting the hang of it. :) I’ve made a few characters, but here’s the one I made to look like my old role-playing-turned-online personality. I’m rather proud of her, if I do say so myself. :D

Happy New Year - 2006!

Well, we made it to another new year. To ring in 2006, we had a bit of a party last night. :) (”We” being my sis-in-law, my brother-in-law, their little boy, their neighbor, her little boy, her husband and his brother, and the boys and I.) Amid chips, crackers and cheese, and cookies, we had the life of the party…alchohol! Strawberry marguritas, pina coladas, Baily’s Irish creme and coffee….mmmm! I had a few drinks (the coffee being my fav) and snacked all night. We danced (the kids dancing was hilarious :D ) and had a great time. A minute before midnight came and we counted down. Then we let the poppers fly and the sparkling apple cider flow as midnight came and went. My sis-in-law’s neighbor and her husband took their little boy home. The rest of us partied until about 2am. I didn’t drink so much this year that I got sick or was hung-over this morning…yay! :)

Hope everyone has a great 2006!! Happy New Year!!! :D
